What does the Beginner Course consist of?
Our program consists of 20 hours of in-class instruction,10 hours in-car training and 10 hours homelink (work book provided). A Ministry approved certificate is issued to reduce insurance costs.
When does the program begin?
This program is ongoing; you may begin your classes on a Saturday or Sunday. Weekday classes are also available (Tues & Thur). However, it's recommended you pre-register to ensure a spot is available and to confirm a starting date.
Do I have to finish my classes before I can start my in-car training?
At Good Drivers we give you the option of doing your classes and in-car lessons side-by-side or you may begin your in-car lessons after completing the classes. It's your choice!
When can I schedule my in-car lessons?
In-car lessons are offered seven days a week and may be booked
in the morning, afternoon or evening. You may book 60 minute or
90 minute lessons.The average student takes 2 lessons a week.
Please note: in-car lessons are not offered in the evening on Saturday or Sunday.
How much will I save on my insurance?
Our students are saving between 25% to 40% annually. At Good Drivers,presentations from various insurance companies are held in our in-class sessions and a representative would be happy to assist you with all your insurance questions.

How do I pre-register?
You may pre-register over the phone with the first installment of $200 using any major credit card. Please call 905-568-8747 and a Good Drivers' representative will be happy to register and reserve a spot for you.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, you may begin your classes with the first installment of $200. The second installment is to be paid at the office when you are ready to being your in-car lessons.
How long does it take to complete the program?
The average student takes between 3 to 4 weeks to complete the entire program. However, if you would like to finish quicker, you may do so by combining evening and weekend classes and taking 90 minute in-car sessions instead of 60 minutes. This way you may finish between 2 to 3 weeks.
If you have been driving in another country, you may get your license as you are doing the program. Therefore you will be able to drive independently and once you have successfully completed the program a certificate will be issued.
Can I begin the course without my G1?
You may begin the program's class sessions without your G1, but you must have it before you begin your in-car lessons.
How long do I have to finish the program?
You must complete the entire program (classes and in-car training) within one year.
